Research
Since 2017, I have conducted research on immigrant health and published more than 20 peer-reviewed scientific articles. My research has focused on interdisciplinary collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and health inequalities, with extensive experience in collaboration across faculties, institutions, and diverse population groups.In my postdoctoral research, I investigate strategies for integrating oral health into general healthcare to promote a more holistic approach to health and reduce health inequalities among vulnerable populations in Norway.
Outreach
I disseminate my research through scientific conferences, academic seminars, and teaching. I also participate in interdisciplinary networks and collaborate with healthcare professionals, policymakers, and community stakeholders to promote the translation of research into practice. I am committed to making research accessible and relevant to both academic audiences and society.
Teaching
Since 2023, I have been teaching undergraduate medical students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Bergen, in anatomy, cell biology, oral biology, physiology, and nutrition.
